We’ve had a lot of Indian food throughout Sydney and this genuinely the best food we’ve had. We ordered the lamb korma, lamb Rogan Josh, chicken vindaloo, chicken madras, butter chicken as well as garlic & cheese, garlic naan. Wow absolutely blown away. Thank you so much.
Don't have enough stars to give to this little gem in orange, deserve 7+ star rating. Great selection of specials Menu, barramundi koliwada, goat gilawati kebab to die for. Curries also have immense flavour. 200% recommended. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality.
Great experience! The host was very welcoming and greeted with a smile. I had the chicken with ghost chilli sauce, and the chef was kind enough to show me that it was made with real ghost chilli. It brought back nostalgic memories of the ghost chillies from the north-eastern part of India. A wonderful and memorable meal!

I had kadhai paneer and malai kofta. I travelled all the way from Sydney and visited this restaurant for the first time. It was a great experience here. Our family loved it. The staff was really attentive and friendly and even the chef personally came to the table to ask about the experience. Highly recommended !

Maithil Rasoi serves some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had — honestly better than anything I’ve tried in Sydney. Every dish tastes authentic, fresh, and full of flavour. The chef is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can really feel the warmth of it being a family-run business. One of the standout things is their rotating blackboard specials, which has dishes featuring local, seasonal produce and bring something unique and exciting to the menu every time. You can tell so much care goes into every dish. Such a hidden gem and absolutely worth visiting.
Absolutely delicious eggplant curry! The eggplant was perfectly cooked—soft, flavorful, and soaked in rich spices. The curry had a great balance of taste and aroma, not too oily and full of authentic flavor. One of the best eggplant dishes I’ve had. Highly recommended to anyone who loves good vegetarian food!
